Danny Delbridge Day 2025

May 10, 2025

Photos of both the Mens and Womens senior teams playing in their limited edition Danny Delbrige Day playing jumper for 2025We’d like to send out our thanks to all players and supporters who came along on Danny Delbridge Day and supported each of our teams and our fundraising efforts! The energy this day brings to the club is always electric, and it goes a long way to encouraging our teams who walked away with 3 wins on the day as well as some close losses.

Our charity luncheon was a huge success and something we continue to be proud of each year for the way it brings our community together and allows us to get behind important causes. Many attendees walked away as happy prize-winners, the paella was the talk of the town, and we got to hear from our guest speakers for the day Bardie Somerville and Patrick Kennedy who shared their personal mental health stories and experience.

The players event in the evening was also an exciting occasion, with the day’s limited edition playing jumpers a hot commodity when they were auctioned off. Although we’re yet to have the total tallied, with all proceeds from the day and the jumper auction going to the Black Dog Institute we can be sure that our donation will contribute to them being able to keep up their excellent work.

If you’re interested in finding out about the mental health support work done by the Black Dog Institute, you can visit the Black Dog Institute website.
