We are thrilled to announce that in 2026, Kew Football Club will field an Under‑19 Women’s team! This year the VAFA ran a Women’s Academy U19 series and are now looking to get a full U19 women’s competition up and running in 2026. With two junior club alliances at Kew Comets and Kew Rovers, we are well structured to develop a successful U19 women’s program, as we have seen in the success of the U19 men’s team run by Mannie Di Parsia and Cam Scarff. This new pathway will provide a critical stepping stone from juniors into our developed senior women’s program in the Women’s Premier Division.
The U19’s season will kick off next year and the new U19 women’s side will be looking to train alongside the senior women’s in preseason.
