Round 1 is just a few sleeps away and the excitement is building as we prepare to launch our Thirds women’s side – a first for Kew Football Club. We cannot wait to celebrate this momentous occasion alongside the launch of our 2023 season marking 10 years of women’s football at Kew.
Saturday will feature all 3 women’s games at Victoria Park, including a special event in the Bear Cave clubrooms at 2 pm. We invite you to join us in the clubrooms for drinks and nibbles to launch our 10 year celebrations, and to celebrate our Women’s Thirds team debut! Family and friends are welcome, and we will have a show to watch on the field with the Women’s seniors team playing their game at the same time.
Our men’s teams will be playing away for round 1, with our Seniors and Reserves facing off against Glen Eira at Packer Park in Carnegie, and our Men’s Thirds playing Williamstown CYMS at Loft Reserve in Newport.
With such a strong preseason behind us, the entire squad is raring to go this weekend. Make sure you get down to see some excellent local footy and support your favourite community club!
