Kew Football Club recognised as a Women & Girls Chartered Club

March 9, 2026

Poster showing a photo of the Kew Senior Women's team celebrating on the field, and it says Kew Football Club - proudly a 2026 women and girls chartered clubWe’re proud to announce that as a club we have satisfied all requirements to be officially recognised as a Women & Girls Chartered Club!

The Women & Girls Community Football Charter is a commitment from community football leagues, clubs and umpire groups to work towards making community football environments welcoming, safe and inclusive for women and girls.

The charter sets clear expectations for associations to champion women and girls, guided by four key principles:

  • opportunity
  • visibility
  • access
  • investment.

This is an important milestone for our club and reflects the commitment we have made to supporting and growing women’s and girls’ football.

You will now be able to see Kew Football Club listed on the Play AFL website. We are also now showing as a Women & Girls Community Football Charter club on Play AFL’s Club finder search tool.

We’re incredibly proud to achieve this recognition and look forward to continuing to build a strong, inclusive future for women’s and girls’ football at Kew Football Club.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this possible.
